Monday February 22

This is a short week due to Parent/Teacher conferences and Snow Days on Wednesday. Times for conferences are Monday from 4:00 until 7:30. And Thursday from 8:00-11:00, 12:00-4:00, and 5:00-7:30. I hope to see as many parents there as possible.

Today we will watch Channel 1 News and talk about the Olympics. You will also get a map of Europe which will be due on Wednesday. You will also get a grade sheet to take home for an assignment to let your parents know there are conferences. That needs to be turned in by Wednesday.

Tuesday the plan is to continue discussing the Olympics, where the different sports came from and why certain countries win more medals in certain events.

Wednesday is Snow Days so we will have a shortened schedule, so we'll finish with any Olympic talk that we need to finish up with. We will do a Geography Skills Activity and any extra time you can finish up your Europe Maps.
