Today we will be correcting a worksheet on Chapter 6, that was assigned on Tuesday. After that we will be starting on Chapter 7 which is about Mexico. We will begin by having a Note worksheet on Chapter 7. This will be do on Monday Febuary 1st.

Today we will be doing a Comparing and Contrasting activity looking at the Maya, the Aztec, and the Incan peoples of Latin America.

We will then watch a 30 minute video on Mexico.

Today is a 3W day. We'll start off by watching the first part of Channel 1 news for an update on Haiti. We'll then watch a 15 minute video on the ancient civilizations of Mexico.

All students got a grade printout yesterday in class. They are encouraged if they are behind in a class to stay after school tomorrow to get caught up. Or to come in on Friday when there is no school for students but teachers will be at school.

Today we will be watching Channel 1 News to get an update on Haiti and Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We'll follow that by discussing the Province test and the group essay test that we took last week on Canada. We'll end the day by correcting the Unit 3 Atlas that was assigned last Friday.

Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will be watching some video clips showing his life from his childhood through his speeches.

Tomorrow we will be discussing the Canada Test that we took last week, as well as discussing the Unit 3 Atlas that was assigned last Friday.
